BMW i100 Coupe Active Hybrid
Hybrids continue to arrive. According to edition AutoBild, concern BMW develops a new hybrid coupe i100 Coupe Active Hybrid which will allow it to compete with Mercedes SLS E-Cell and Audi E-tron. This connected hybrid can receive the three-cylinder motor capacity of 165-180 h.p. with direct injection which will actuate rear wheels, and also two electromotors capacity over hundred horsepowers.
These indicators are far from prospective 526 h.p. at Mercedes SLS E-Cell, but almost precisely correspond to potential Audi E-Tron. However, unlike the competitor having only two places for passengers, seats in i100 will settle down under the formula 2+2.
After i100 will appear BMW M100. This charged version i100 will receive already the six-cylinder motor which, most likely, will borrow at model М3 of following generation.
There is a probability that BMW i100 Coupe Active Hybrid debuts on a motor show in Frankfurt in 2011, and its batch production can begin in two years after that. In total it will be exhausted such 35 000 cars under the price about 100 000 euros for everyone.
